Here’s a link to an excellent study by some of our Supply Chain MBA students that looks at the importance of the SC industry to the NC economy.
This great event was held on Nov 13 and put on by the Jenkins MBA student association. The event featured several Business Management faculty including: Stacy Wood and Rosanna Garcia.

VentureWell (formerly NCIIA) has just awarded a 3 year grant to support the goals of the Product Innovation Lab. The product innovation lab is taught by Jon Bohlmann and John McCreery.

For the fourth year running, NC State’s CFA Research Challenge Team made the finals in Greensboro. To get to the finals, they beat out several prominent schools in the state (including two blue schools!).
The team had to write a research report on Haynes Brands NYSE:HBI, and present their findings to a panel of professional money managers. Richard Warr (Professor of Finance and Department Head) was the faculty advisor and Ron Elmer MBA, CFA served as the industry advisor.
The team consisted of Clinton Coffey, Garima Bansal, Jay Ledbetter, Kristen Martin and Michael Martinez. All are students in the Jenkins MBA program.
Congratulations to all the faculty teaching in our online MBA (many of which are in Business Management). We created the program to offer a high quality experience that mirrored the face to face program, and it looks like we’re getting the recognition we deserve!
